Labour ComplianceThe Ministry of Labour and Employment (MoLE) on August 22, 2026, urges Establishments to avail the Employees’ Enrolment Campaign 2026 for EPF Coverage.

The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has urged establishments to utilise the Employees’ Enrolment Campaign, 2026 (EEC 2026), effective from June 29, 2026, to enrol eligible employees who remained outside EPF coverage during the period April 1, 2009 to March 31, 2026. The one-time campaign will remain open until October 31, 2026 and provides specified relaxations, including waiver of the employee’s share where it was not deducted earlier, subject to applicable conditions. Employers are required to complete enrolment through the prescribed online process, generate Face Authentication-based UANs through the UMANG App and remit contributions through the Electronic Challan-cum-Return (ECR). EPFO has advised employers to review their employment and wage records, identify eligible employees and complete their enrolment before the campaign deadline to extend provident fund, pension and insurance benefits to previously uncovered workers.
